Terms and conditions for Vinyl Tango Fever

PARTICIPATION:

Participation to the VINYL TANGO FEVER is possible either by registering and purchasing a Full Pass for the whole event or by paying “on the spot” entrance for an individual milonga at the door.

The number of participants to each milonga will be limited to 70 leaders and 70 followers. 

BALANCE:

The organisers will do their best to have a balance between leaders and followers during the event. However, due to last-minute cancellations and the unpredictable dancing patterns of the participants, imbalances may occur despite the efforts of the organisers to have a balanced event.

REGISTRATION AND FULL PASSES:

Full passes are sold individually after registration on our site. Each pass costs 55 CHF and includes full access to all 4 VINYL MILONGAS (dancing sessions). It does not include addmission to the AFTERPARTY on Sunday night, entrance to which costs 10 CHF and is paid at the the door. A total of 100 full passes will be available - 50 for leaders and 50 for followers. Full passes will be sold only in advance until 6 July or until stocks last, whichever comes first

FULL PASSES FOR COUPLES

In case of purchasing 2 passes bundled as a couple registration (under FULL PASS - COUPLE) one of the participants must be a man/leader and the other one - a woman/follower. In case this not true and the two passes have been purchased by two women/followers or two men/leaders the organizers may cancel the registration and not allow the registered parties access to the event.

TRANSFER OF REGISTRATIONS/FULL PASSES:

Anyone who registers purchasing a Full Pass, and for some reason cannot attend the event, may transfer their registration/Full Pass to a replacement without the organisers' prior agreement subject to the following conditions:
- (a) the replacement must be of the same gender;
- (b) the cancelling participant must send a message to vtf@baseltangomarathon.com no later than 6th July with the full name and email of the replacement; and
- (c) any fee transfers must be arranged between the participant and the replacement.
If conditions (a) and (b) are note met the replacement may be refused access to the event.

SALES AT THE DOOR:

For each VINYL MILONGA there will be a certain number of places available “on the spot” which will cost 15 CHF per person. The number of such “on the spot” places will be initially limited to 20 for leaders and 20 for followers. If there are unsold Full Passes by the start of the event then the number of “on the spot” places for each individual milonga will be increased with the number of unsold Full Passes.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS:

There will be no refunds of registrations/Full Passes in cases of cancellation or no-show on behalf of a participant.

In the unlikely case that the whole event is cancelled by the organizers the fees paid for registrations/Full Passes will be refunded in full.

CHANGES TO PROGRAM, SCHEDULE OR VENUES:

The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the program, the schedule of the events and the listed venues. If such a change occurs, notifications will be send to those who have registered and purchased a Full Pass. Any changes will also be updated on the event website and communicated in Facebook and during the event.
